Freshly developed at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’re proud to launch our ultimate specification intercooler kit with integrated crash bar design aimed at modified Toyota Corolla GR owners who want the very highest levels of cooling efficiency and performance for track or fast road use.

With a wealth of knowledge from developing a huge range of cooling parts and packages for the Yaris GR model with the same engine as the Corolla GR, we had a huge head start on what would work effectively to cool these cars when tuned or during hard track use. As a result, we were able to utilise the same core as the Stage 3 Yaris GR intercooler although the kit is different to the Corolla. 

Our Stage 3 is the biggest intercooler kit we could and made the most of the available space behind the bumper by using a stepped core design that rises up behind the entire front grille area. By doing so, the new intercooler offers a huge 143% increase in overall capacity in comparison to the original intercooler (56% bigger than our Stage 1 kit), and also features a colossal 125% increase in frontal area over standard (74% over our Stage 1), which allows it to make the most of the air flow provided.

Together with our high-flow, moulded one-piece cast end tanks to ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the Stage 3 AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler also features an enlarged 60mm inlet to match the outlet, and together the kit offers much greater efficiency and volume over both the standard and our Stage 1 intercoolers, which it proved during testing.

Available in a high-quality powder coated black finish, the comprehensive kit is a direct replacement and comes complete with Pro Hoses silicone connectors to adapt to standard boost pipes. It also comes complete with all fixtures and fittings, as well as detailed fitting instructions.

A must have modification for those looking for only the very best for their modified Corolla GR models.

The Testing
Having already carried out testing on the Stage 3 Yaris GR intercooler which shares the same core design, we already knew the intercooler was proven to perform. 

But we were still keen to ensure the results could be repeated on our Corolla GR with forged engine and big turbo kit, which produces 495bhp so on a Dyno Dynamics rolling road at Devil Developments, we logged the inlet and outlet temperatures of both our Stage 1 and Stage 3 intercoolers back-to-back as well as refitting the standard intercooler.
